Art Deco Paris: the elegance of another Paris
12 stops from avenue Montaigne to Boulogne via Chaillot and Auteuil: Art Deco, pioneering concrete and modernism, from 1903 to 1937.
12 stops · 7.5 km · total duration ~4h10
Twelve stops connect avenue Montaigne with Boulogne-Billancourt via Chaillot and Auteuil. The route explores architecture from 1903 to 1937: the Perret brothers' concrete predates Art Deco, Henri Sauvage and Molitor express the 1920s, while Le Corbusier and Mallet-Stevens represent modernism. The Palais de Tokyo's two wings belong to one 1937 ensemble; the Trocadéro gardens and Palais de Chaillot offer complementary views of one site. All five TikTok carousel spots remain, but they are only a selection from this walk. Stops focus on exterior observation from public spaces, without entering residential properties. Maison La Roche may be visited separately under its official admission conditions; Molitor's pools are private. The last stop is in Boulogne, outside Paris proper. Distance and duration are estimates, not a GPS survey or a street-by-street walking route; full indoor visits are not included.
