Place Colette
In front of the Comédie-Française, Place Colette has borne the writer's name since 1966; she spent her final years in the neighbouring Palais-Royal and died there in 1954. The square marks the entrance to the Palais-Royal district from Avenue de l'Opéra.
Its curiosity is the Kiosque des Noctambules, a métro entrance dressed in 2000 by Jean-Michel Othoniel in coloured Murano glass beads, contrasting with the classic Guimard entrances.
