Built for the 1900 World's Fair, the Passerelle Debilly was meant to be temporary, like the Eiffel Tower. It links Quai de New York to Quai Branly, facing the Eiffel Tower, and was never dismantled.
Reserved for pedestrians and cyclists, this slender 125-metre metal footbridge is one of the best close-up viewpoints of the Eiffel Tower from the Seine, without the crowds of the Pont d'Iéna.
