Parc de Bercy
Laid out in the 1990s on the site of the Bercy wine warehouses, Parc de Bercy preserves the memory of the place: rails, cobblestones and the warehouses' old trees were worked into the contemporary design. Fourteen hectares are arranged in three distinct sequences.
There are wide lawns, themed gardens — kitchen garden, orchard, rose garden, scented garden — a canal and a gardening centre. A footbridge links the park to the national library on the opposite bank. Tip: one of the least crowded parks in the east-central city; combine it with Bercy Village, reached directly from the eastern end.
