The only contemporary park in Paris, created in 1992 on the former Citroën factory on Quai de Javel, plays on clean lines: two monumental greenhouses, serial gardens in bold colours, canals and a huge lawn open to the Seine.
The white garden and the black garden, the cascades and the water jets where children rush in summer make it a lively, graphic park. The Ballon de Paris, tethered here, offers a view from 150 metres up.
