Built in 1657 on Rue François-Miron, this mansion was given by Anne of Austria to Catherine Bellier, the queen's first chambermaid. The young Mozart stayed here in 1763.
Its architect Antoine Le Pautre pulled off a tour de force on an irregular plot: a strikingly elegant oval courtyard, resting on 13th-century medieval cellars.
Tip: the building houses the administrative court of appeal; the courtyard can be glimpsed from the entrance on weekdays. Five minutes, on the way to Saint-Paul.
